Here's another collection of songs inspired by places I've been or what
I was feeling or doing at that particular time. Some highlights:

The song, "1977" is one of my favorites. It started with an acoustic
guitar riff. It took about 3o minutes to arrange it. I felt at first, it
resembled early Rush. I kept hearing a bass line as well as drum parts, in my head. I ended up forgetting about it for over a year. When I decided to dig it up, I still heard the same parts in my head. I had to see it through, now. I built onto the song and it just unfolded into an epic piece. I channeled several guitarists I grew up listening to and countless musical influences since then...I just had to have an excuse to play an oud solo! A musical journey through time, if you will, since playing my first chords at age 12, back in...1977. Now at age 55,
contemplation seems to be the running theme.

"Beautiful Day For A Bomb" is dedicated to
the memory of my childhood friend who tragically died in a car crash earlier this year. It was a beautiful spring day like any when it
feels good to be alive at that moment... until I received the text. He was family. We had lost touch between the years of 1979 and 1995 after I moved to Texas from NY. We had kept in close touch since then.
This song is for Jason Brubaker and all who knew and loved him.

Tracks 9 through 11 were composed for Hip Pocket Theatre's adaption of "The Monkey Wrench Gang". "Heyduke Lives" was especially fun, tapping into my early childhood exposure to Clint Eastwood/Spaghetti
westerns and The Ventures. Thanks, Dad.

"Bumblebee" is a place in Arizona where I bottomed out a PT Cruiser
on my first tour in 2007.

"Colossus" is actually a water filled metal roller used for laying sod.
Fun with effects.
