Began playing guitar at age 12. Early influences are Dad, Chuck Berry, Ventures, Hendrix Jimmy Page, Sabbath, Rush, Judas Priest, Uli Roth, Michael Schenker. Member of thrash metal band Hammer Witch 1989-94, Amillion Pounds 1994-2004. Mostly acoustic by the end of the metal years with Kottke, Fahey and Hedges as primary influences, incorporating mid eastern influences and bluegrass/old time.
